TESTIMONIALS

I first met Walter when I arrived in the Miami Valley in 2011 as CEO of the Dayton VA Medical Center. In these initial meetings Walter's passion for Veteran causes was clearly evident. Later I learned why. In 2017 I retired from the VA and began serving as President of the American Veterans Heritage Center. In researching the history of the organization, I learned that Walter Harrison was one of our founding members. His efforts resulted in the restoration of the Protstant Chapel. One of the first churches built with federal resources in 1878. He also established a Walk of Honor on the campus of the historic Dayton VAMC. I know Walter to be a compassionate community minded individual who provides effective strategic advice. He has a skill for asking the hard questions, which drive superior outcomes.
